Caring for animals in Northampton
We were established in 1964 to support local pets. At present, we care for animals at our Hope Cattery in Brixworth, a private boarding kennel close by and through our foster family network.

RSPCA vs RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch, what’s the difference?
It is not widely known that RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch is a seperate charity from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals – better known as the RSPCA.
National RSPCA
- Operates across the whole of England and Wales.
- Support a vast range of animals including horses and wildlife.
RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch
- Operates across the county of Northamptonshire*
- Offer specialised support to dogs, cats, rabbits and small domestic pets such as guinea pigs.
* Due to strict RSPCA boundaries, some areas of Northamptonshire fall into the territory of our neighbouring branches. Our branch team will be happy to advise.
